Siemens to Supply Baku Steel with EAF, Waste Gas Cleaning Plant Jan. 24, 2012 - Azerbaijani steel producer Baku Steel has ordered a new electric arc furnace from Siemens VAI Metals Technologies as part of an expansion project to raise its production capacity to around 1.1 million tonnes of steel per annum. The project also includes the supply of mechanical equipment for a ladle furnace and a waste gas cleaning system.
