Bricmont to Provide Melting, Holding Furnaces for Weiqiao Aluminum and Electricity
Jun. 27, 2011 Bricmont, Inc. has been awarded a contract to supply eight high-production-capacity round top-charge aluminum melting furnaces and eight rectangular tilting holding furnaces for Weiqiao Aluminum and Electricity Company’s new production facility in Shandon Province in P.R. China.
The new installation will incorporate several state-of-the-art design features including regenerative burners, electromagnetic stirring, innovative in-bath metal refining and advanced controls.
Bricmont will provide engineering, materials, procurement and field services for the furnaces with Bricmont’s associate company, Inductotherm Group China (IGC), providing local materials, installation and support services.
When commissioned in late 2012, Weiqiao Aluminum and Electricity Company’s new production facility will be one of the largest capacity and most modern aluminum casting centers in P.R. China.
