Core Furnace Systems Corp. announces the appointment of Dominic M. Faccone as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.

Faccone has served as Core’s President and CEO since October 2000, and will continue to serve in this position.

Faccone has over 30 years of domestic and international experience in the iron and steel and related industries. Prior to joining Core, he served as President and CEO of Ispat America Inc. in Charlotte, N.C., a subsidiary of Ispat International, NV. He also held key management positions with Midrex Technologies, Inc.

Core Furnace Systems is a leader in the design and supply of quality industrial furnaces for reheating, carbon baking, calcining, heat treating as well as melting and metallurgical refining furnaces.
