May 2006 — Angang New Iron and Steel, P.R. China, recently ordered new Hydraulic Automatic Gage Control (HAGC) cylinders from Morgan Construction Co.’s Morgoil^® division in Worcester, Mass. Angang will use the HAGC cylinders on their new 1580-mm hot strip mill.

Morgan will manufacture the cylinders in Worcester for delivery to Anshan in the second half of 2006. The cylinders will provide high frequency response gage control to the hot rolling process.

Gabriel Royo, Vice President and General Manager of Morgoil, noted that the HAGCs supplied to the Chinese market will be fully serviceable in Morgan’s manufacturing facility in Shanghai.
