SSINA Appoints New Market Development Committee Chairman
Jun. 4, 2010 The Specialty Steel Industry of North America (SSINA) has appointed Michael Stateczny as the Chairman of its Market Development Committee, effective June 9, 2010.
Stateczny is the Senior Vice President of Plate Products for Outokumpu Stainless, Inc., with close to 30 years of experience in the specialty industry. Since 2004, he has been responsible for operations, marketing, and management of Outokumpu's Plate Products business unit located in New Castle, Ind.
In his role as Market Development Committee Chairman, Stateczny will be responsible for advancing the group's mission of the expanded use and recognition of stainless steel.
"I look forward to building upon the contributions of my predecessor, Bill Milon of Allegheny Ludlum, and helping SSINA serve as a valuable resource on the benefits of stainless steel," said Stateczny.
Specialty Steel Industry of North America (SSINA) is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing specialty metals producers, which include high-technology, high-value stainless and other specialty alloy products. SSINA member companies include ATI Allegheny Ludlum and ATI Allvac, Carpenter Technology Corp., Electralloy, Latrobe Specialty Steel Co., North American Stainless, Outokumpu Stainless, Inc., Universal Stainless and Alloy Products, and Valbruna Slater Stainless Inc.
