July 2006 — Posco recently purchased two espresso SI hot dip galvanizing inspection systems from Parsytec for its Kwang-Yang facility.

Parsytec says the espresso SI system incorporates low-maintenance hardware and user-friendly classification software including a classifier building wizard.

This contract follows 34 previous orders from Posco since 1999, including seven orders for hot dip galvanizing lines. Michael Trunkhardt, Corporate Sales Manager at Parsytec, comments: "Parsytec and Posco have built a highly appreciated relationship over the years due to Parsytec’s high standard technology and reliability. We constantly set new levels for the detection and classification technology in the market, which guarantees Posco in turn the best production quality possible."
