American Steel Industry Supports WTO Decision on Chinese Export Policies Jan. 31, 2012 - The American Iron and Steel Institute, the Steel Manufacturers Association, the Specialty Steel Industry of North America, the Committee on Pipe and Tube Imports, and the United Steelworkers support the favorable decision by the Appellate Body of the World Trade Organization, which held that China’s restraints on exports of various raw materials violated its WTO obligations.

USITC Reaches Decision on Stainless Wire Rod from India Dec. 19, 2011 - The U.S. International Trade Commission determined that revoking the existing antidumping duty order on stainless steel wire rod from India would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. Therefore, the existing order on imports of this product from India will remain in place.

USITC to Continue Cases on Welded Carbon Steel Pipe from India, Oman, UAE, and Vietnam Dec. 12, 2011 - The U.S. Department of Commerce will continue to conduct its antidumping and countervailing duty investigations on imports of circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from India, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam based on the USITC’s finding of reasonable indication of material injury due to imports of these products.

USITC Makes Decision on Cut-to-Length Carbon Steel Plate Dec. 6, 2011 - The U.S. International Trade Commission determined that revoking the existing antidumping and countervailing duty orders on cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate from India, Indonesia, and Korea would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. The existing orders on imports of these products from Italy and Japan will be revoked as a result of the Commission's negative determinations.

ITC to Uphold Duty Orders on Stainless Pipe from Korea, Taiwan Nov. 18, 2011 - The U.S. International Trade Commission determined that revoking the existing antidumping duty orders on welded stainless steel pipe from Korea and Taiwan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.
