V&M Grants Acceptance Certificate for Tenova Pit Furnace
Jul. 13, 2010 Vallourec & Mannesmann Tubes Deutschland GmbH has issued an Acceptance Certificate for the pit furnace that Tenova LOI Italimpianti recently installed in Düsseldorf-Reisholz. The new pit furnaces supplements existing furnaces at the facility.
The new pit furnace has the capacity to heat up to 220 tonnes of round pieces of varying steel qualities to 1320°C. The furnace is equipped with the latest combustion technologies, including low-NOx high-speed burners designed for running with natural gas and controlled in an on / off sequential mode.
