Tenova I2S Commissions Cluster Mill at Shanghai Qichang Stainless Steel
Jul. 21, 2010 Tenova I2S has commissioned its new ZR23CN-26” 20-High Cluster Mill at Shanghai Qichang Stainless Steel in Shanghai, China. The company produces carbon steel, 200, 300, and 400 series stainless steels.
The new mill is equipped with the latest automation and control systems that produce precision stainless steel strip to a minimum thickness of 0.05 mm. It includes Tenova I2S automatic gauge control, I2S thickness gauges, digital dc drives, and automatic flatness control.
The cluster mill produces stainless steels from 3.0 to 0.05 mm thickness with a strip width range of 300 to 660 mm at speeds of 600 meters per minute.
