Turkey's largest steelmaking group, Erdemir, has announced that it's Iskenderun-based subsidiary Isdemir has commissioned its modernized coke battery No. 4.

The company stated it has invested $48 million in the modernization project. The newly commissioned coke battery increases the daily coke production capacity of Isdemir to 6,450 tonnes from 5,250 tonnes.
